I find it truly remarkable how a mere twenty six letters of the alphabet can be infinitely manipulated to create stories that have to power to touch our hearts, change our lives, and stay with us forever. I know it's a cliche, but I honestly believe there is no better way to spend a day than snuggled in front of a roaring fire with a well-thumbed book and a steaming mug of hot chocolate.
I've been an avid reader all my life and I've read everything from 'The Hungry Caterpillar' to 'The Canterbury Tales'. So, as I enter my final year as an undergraduate linguistics student at the University of Leeds, I figured it was about time to take the plunge and turn my passion into something productive. So here we go!
